Sending out kmails with attachments of the assignment kids missed. So they don't have to go find it in the LMS.

These "positively framed" messages are really effective. So I'm planning on sending out positive kmails and texts to those 40%-60% students. I'm also sending out the graph this week, for getting to a passing grade. :)

Holding kiddos after class for 1-on-1 grade-book talks. Offering extra credit for attending catch-up office hours/help time. Calling the squeakers that are so close to passing!

I will be holding intervention sessions 3 times this week for those that need to catch up. I am letting students do the Unit 3 Test Part 2 in class with each other.

I am having specific review days for the specific units and if they pass with 60% or higher they pass. I am also sending links to Khan Academy videos and review links!

I am doing something called a fast forward to help students get to passing plus annoucing it everywhere that this is the next to last week.

I am going to contact my 35-59% students (through text, phone call, or email). I am going to encourage them to turn in specific big point assignments. I will also create plans to pass for them.

I am texting specific benchmarks for plan to pass. Students text me back when they have gotten those items done and then I give them the next item. It is really working!

I have kmailed my students where they are at with their reading class attendance, reading progress monitorings, and their OLS progress. For my homeroom students I have also included their history and science OLS progress.
