RemindersDo things now that your beginning of year self will thank you for. :) | ResourcesFor core teachers! Good news – USA Test Prep is SUPER easy to work with. They gave us a 10 day trial account that they said we can call and get extended if needed. It is available until June 2nd and we can have up to 25 teachers logged in at the same time.
Also if you haven't watched this demo it's worth your time where a teacher shows you what it can do and how it works. https://sas.elluminate.com/site/external/launch/nativeplayback.jnlp?sid=559&psid=2016-04-22.1029.M.B24C9CDD3A35DDA80F4BA2CA67A256.vcr |

- Passing Rates. Please continue to do all you can to help students pass. Also if a student tested proficient in SAGE and isn't passing, please find a way to pass them, as they have proven mastery in those subjects if you so see fit, completely up to your teacher discretion.
- Please bring a cap and gown to graduation, doesn't matter what color. If you don't have one, please don't stress, just dress nice. Thanks :)

Tasks
Please check items off on this checklist as you complete them.
There have been some questions about the instructional map and what portions of it that need to be complete before leaving for Summer. Hopefully this will help clarify a bit and we will be working on this together while at PD, so hopefully you'll have a great start on it being finished moving into the Summer months as this will be due prior to leaving for Summer Break.
- Large Group Sessions: If your course is the same you will be able to get these all figured out. If your curriculum is changing you will be find this information in the scope and sequence documents sent previously.
- SAGE standard
- State Testing blueprint priority
- K12 Lesson/Unit Topic (General)
- K12 Lesson Objective (General)
- Targeted Group Sessions
- We will be using USA Test Prep as our tier II tool and teaching resource. Once you've mapped out the standards you will teach and when in your instructional cycles, you'll be able to go in and pick what pieces of USA test prep you will use to reteach standards that were shown as not mastered on the CIA for each instructional cycle. However our first score we will get is the PLA. It will show us how students did on the information they should have mastered LAST year. So for the first tier II cycle you will want to look at your curriculum, look at the year before or collaborate with those teachers. Identify the BIGGEST concepts that if they missed those and did not master them the year before it will have the biggest negative impact on their ability to do well this year in your subject and be ready to remediate those for your first instructional cycle for any student who scores below a certain point on the PLA. We will have access to a demo account by PD.
- This year our tier II groups will be a VERY big focus and we will be intentionally reteaching the standards and reassessing for mastery. It is important that we focus on this piece in conjunction with our main teaching tier I map.

Tasks
Please check off tasks as you complete them on this checklist.
Testing No show Task: Meghan will be sending a report showing all the no shows. We need to actively pursue either the confirmation of a make up if they are in the SLC area or the opt out if out of area of make-up options. Three different methods of contact is required for everyone listed in your homeroom. It is VERY important we reach our 95% tested.
Instruction Map: Becky cancelled PLC to give time to work individually on your instructional map. An outline of your map is due before you leave for Summer break using the scope and sequence and your own knowledge of the course, the standards and the blueprint. We will check each week on your progress for completing this.

Wildly Important Goals
Passing Rates!
This week we will be getting that report that Meghan presented in staff call giving you good solid numbers of how many students we need to move to passing to hit our goal of 72%. Please identify your students close and make plans to get them to pass. Those of you with subjects that have shorter assignments and a more realistic possibility of passing those who are very behind, please try to exceed the goal percentage so we can make up for the tougher subjects where the students would need a miracle to complete and submit the needed missing assignments.
